Gothic style oak cupboard, or Aumbry, with simple tracery carved and
scratch moulded doors. The doors consist of 2 pairs, each bi-folding,
which hinge completely round to the cupboard sides to reveal a plasma
screen TV, video/dvd player etc. and 2 drawers for storage of media.
This piece of furniture is in classic medieval 'boarded' style and is
fixed together with hand forged rose head nails. The hinges are made
from genuine wrought iron and, like all the nail heads, prematurely
rusted before final finishing. |
