REPLICA FURNITURE

Our client placed an order for a copy of an original mid 17th century child's stool as illustrated in Victor Chinnery's book, 'Oak Furniture, The British Tradition. Looking at the photo you may notice one leg has been turned as a classic baluster, at odds with the other three rising balusters. To remain faithfull to the original we've reproduced this apparent amusing 'error'. Such deviations from our modern day pre-occupation with symetry and form are typical and represents much of the charm of early oak furniture. This example measures 16" high, with the top a slightly out of square 12.75" x 13".
