TUDOR STYLE OAK CUPBOARD - INTERIOR
Detailed view of the centre opening which would have once housed the fixed panel (now a door), hence the darker patination only reaches as far as the original panel grooves. You can just make out the newer oak strips that have been used to fill in the grooves. The narrow wedge shaped board in the floor is a new oak 'restoration' (perhaps where the edge of one of the existing boards had 'rotted'!!).
