Here
you can see the 'recent' superstructure fixed to the inside ends of
the cupboard to take the middle shelf (omitted in this photo). Note
the darker patination around the top corner of the open door, where
centuries of hands would have deposited grease and dirt on the area!
The same occurance can be seen around the drawer handle. |
